Yoga educators of The Yoga and Wellness Center held a morning session to kick off the Festival in The Field at the Lavender Farm at Woodstock. This hour long yoga session helped to cultivate strength, energy, and peace and enabled participants to enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of the lovely lavender fields while flowing through a gentle yoga sequence and guided meditation. Participants left the session feeling rejuvenated, refreshed and ready to enjoy all the offerings of the Lavender Festival.
The Lavender Farm at Woodstock and the Yoga and Wellness Centre hosted a wonderful evening learning about the relaxing benefits of lavender.
Each participant received a lavender oil roller from The Lavender Farm
at Woodstock and were
taught how to use it.
Educator Connie Willis guided participants through a gentle and relaxing yoga sequence designed to help reduce stress and bring peace and harmony to the body by the
light of the moon.
